I was born in Warrensburg, Missouri and now live in Overland Park, Kansas. I have enjoyed creating art ever since junior high school; creating cartoons, whimsical graphics, realistic or abstract paintings and drawings. I went on to study art in college, receiving my BFA in painting from the Kansas City Art Institute. After college I became interested in photography and worked for years as a photo retoucher and digital imager. I have been in many juried shows, group shows, and one person shows with my photographs, collages, drawings and paintings. The last six years I’ve been working with color pencils, watercolors and acrylics. I love being an artist.
