I work as an illustrator / designer in Birmingham, England. Most of the work I do is produced on a computer and I use almost exclusivly a piece of British software called XaraX1 to produce almost all I do. I genuinely believe it to be the best illustration software in the world and more than good enough to produce everything I need to, both for fun and profit, (If it didn't help produce the profit I wouldn't use it). I am interested in the detail from around homes and gardens, small objects forgotten in drawers and cupboards, discarded toys, cracked plant pots unearthed when clearing the undergrowth from the garden and pictures that I simply make up as I go along which can often be the most interesting and suprising.
