Welcome to the Collage/Painting artist group!
I'd like to emphasize, that this is a serious art form group, and has NOTHING to do scrap book paper pages.
I am teaching Collage/Paintings at the University of Delaware at the Wilmington Campus (Academy for Lifelong Learning)
If you have any questions about collages and the techniques, please don't hesitate to post them. I will be glad to help you out!
Much luck!

".........I play with old papers in my paintings, I integrate them and they become a new reality. I believe in collage art as recycling, and it's something that helps maintain a healthy environment. We don't always need a new piece of paper to create a painting. We can try to reuse what we already have. We can help keep trash out of the landfills. How can a piece of paper be reused? These items can be recycled. and become an artwork!! I make a collage out of what I find my my huge recycling bag - magazines, newspapers, notes, wrapping papers, small objects such as buttons, pins, charms and any fun memorabilia. It's not only a new artwork but also a memory from what I have read or a gift I receive!! It's a way to Transform the Ordinary into the Extraordinary!!......."
How true is that??
