Photographers - 50mm lens

Hey and shout out to that segment of AW that are photographers.

50mm Lens How many of the photographers here at AW shoot with the 50? Do you use it often, or for certain things? Is it or would you consider it an 'everyday gotta have with me' lens?

I like it's versatility. Great for portraits for sure, it also is great for street photography, its small size and lack of a bulky zoom make it discreet, allowing you to capture candid scenes without being too intrusive. No zooming, so the photographer MUST be that lever, focus with your feet as they say. It gives you beautiful background blur when you want it too.

I got to wondering the other day, I see many photographs here, I wonder what they shoot with, what's their everyday lens or lenses. Mine will still be my 105mm, but I think the 50 has to accompany me more often. Attaching a 50mm shot, a close one, but I don't think my only intended use of this great little tool, the 50mm.
