DESCRIPTION: The topic for this art contest is FOOD. At this time of year, many people are thinking about a large Thanksgiving dinner they are going to have with their family. For this contest, submit any artwork you have created with food in it. This can be anything from a plastic fruit still life to a Thanksgiving feast. Just submit your food artwork that makes us all hungry!

Ascending Pears. Acrylic on canvas. 12 X 18 inches. Yes, the pears are really that red. The birds ate all the pears last year before we could harvest them, let alone paint them. So I bought 3 from the store and hung them on the tree with Christmas ornament wire. I like the look of these pears more than what we get on our tree, but the ones we grow are tastier.
