Call for Entries - Creative Minds Book - Vol. 2

We recently added the ability for any ArtWanted artist to create a custom art book of their artwork. The next step we wanted to do was to create another professional art book that would feature amazing artwork and photos from hundreds of our members! The new book will be titled "ArtWanted Creative Minds - Vol. 2" - Learn More

We want to create a new art book that will feature the artwork and photography from 150-250 ArtWanted artists. Each page of the book will contain 1-3 curated images from ArtWanted members and we expect the book to have around 100 pages. The book will be horizontal orientation at 11" wide x 8.5" tall and available in paperback or hardback.

All ArtWanted members are invited to submit their best work for consideration in the book. Deadline for submissions is July 31st, 2023. Unfortunately we can't include every artist in the book, so the submitted images will be voted on by the public and ArtWanted members. The top-ranked artists will be invited to be published in this book and submit one high-res image to be included in the final book. After the book design is finalized, the book will be available for purchase through our website and possibly other channels. We know that this project will bring additional exposure and portfolio views to all the artists featured in the book!

I have now also submitted my three entries for the book.Circumstances almost made it impossible for me to enter. My wife were critically ill and passed away on the 12th of June.During her illness I not only damaged my smartphone but my Apple-McKintosh computer packed up.Yes,life happens. I really hope and pray that it will come about that my image could appear in the new planned book in honour of my dear late wife,Ansie.Besides that it would also be an honour to appear in such a sophisticated and excellent book as only ArtWanted are able to present to the artworld at large.Thank you staff of ArtWanted!

I think it’s very difficult with three pictures to vote really as two pictures may be great the third not so or one picture great and the other two a bit iffy. It’s a fabulous idea the book. I completed my vote and I hope I have been fair but to be honest everyone had one that I liked.

Thanks to everyone that has voted so far on the book project. We felt that 3 images would give a good feeling to the voter if they liked the artist or not. The final book will only have one image per artist, and the artist can pick which image they want to use for the publication.
