My first painting was at age five. Throughout my youth I had a typical fascination with art and calligraphy, drawing automobiles and architecture which led to a fleeting interest in drafting. I attempted acrylic paintings as a teen which resulted in epic failure. As a young adult I began a career in graphic design which would last for more than a decade. Having exhausted all creative impulse creating digital art, I cultivated my lifelong appreciation for traditional fine art. I now enjoy creating formal watercolors using western technique and Asian works with traditional materials & method.
