Mýrmann (Víðir Ingólfur ) was born in 1973 in Reykjavík, Iceland. He discovered his artistic talents early on and during his adolescent years he studied at Myndlistarskóli Reykjavíkur. Later on he studied at Myndlistarskólinn Rými and Iðnskólinn í Reykjavík and with the great master Odd Nerdrum. He works with oil on canvas and has participated in several group exhibitions and held fourteen private exhibitions. He lives and works in Iceland with his wife, son and two daughters.
