Gingerbread Art Studio Nita Leger Casey is an Artist who is very versatile , from the intricate still life of fine china and antique lace, to the plein air painting of landscapes and seascapes, Nita is an artist who paints daily. she is able to capture the beauty of the coast of Maine, the greenery of Ireland and the provincial flair of her native France that allows the viewer to be swept away. Nita was born and raised in France has attended the famed ecole des Beaux Arts in Orleans,France and the Ecole de Dessin in Paris. Nita has lived in Italy,Germany and Panama. Nita now lives in New England with her husband and devotes her life painting and running her Gallery /studio for the last 22 years, primarily paints in oil, pastel and watercolor
