Nuno Ferreira (b. 1979, Lisbon, Portugal) is a Portuguese-Australian contemporary artist, designer and visual storyteller based in Sydney.
Working across painting, drawing, graphic design and mixed media, Ferreira creates symbolic narratives that examine identity, memory, power and the psychological tensions that shape the human experience. His practice draws from literature, mythology and historical allegory, transforming familiar characters and archetypes into contemporary reflections on society.
Originally trained in Art History, Drawing and Painting at the Sociedade Nacional de Belas-Artes in Lisbon, Ferreira combines this classical foundation with over a decade of professional experience in visual communication and design. His multidisciplinary background allows him to move fluidly between fine art and design, developing works that are both visually compelling and conceptually layered.
