While remodeling an artists home in central Indiana, in the mid 70's I became interested in learning to paint watercolors. For years I enjoyed doing it as a hobby. But around 2000 I decided I wanted to become a professional artist. In 2007 I am going full time into painting watercolors. I have been selling for several years at festivals, shows and to individuals from my studio. I have been accepted into several jurried shows and contests. I also do commissions, which arrangements can be made by email. ([email protected]) My interests are primarily in the old, rustic, historical, and anything that helps others remember pleasant times and places from the past. I love nature in all of it's God given glory. The beauty that surrounds all of us. I hope you enjoy looking at the paintings as much as I injoyed doing them. Robert
