Awards: Placed 2nd in the mixed media category through East Texas Fine Arts Association in 1992 Also displayed artworks in 1992 and 1995 at the Longview Museum of Fine Arts. Sold to artworks to silent auction in November of 2007 to the East Texas Litarary Council. Donated original painting to Etcada. Top ten club twice thru Artwanted. Featured this past april at P's Gallery in Longview, TX
In difficult times like these it helps to have an escape, and I think that's just what my artwork provides. My paintings, digital artwork, photographs and sometimes drawings, come from my imagination and feelings. When people have looked at my artwork, everyone sees something different. I also do realistic drawings, but my speciality is drawing faces and doing action poses, mainly comic book style. My hope is to convey a sense of wonder and excitement. It provides an outlet for me and I hope it will for you.
"Relish the Daylight"
The snow has fallen, and the dawn has gone. And we all relish the daylight, because it's the focus of us all. The winter is our time of most solitude. The imagination takes in sheets of white, as the snow once again decends from the heavens. One would like to think that the sheet of snow is undamageable, but once the might foot makes its impression in the snow, somehow it loses its innocence. Then almost effortlessly, it melts away in the afternoon sun.
