Jerry Carthon Harris Jr. is an only son with four sisters, born in Chicago, Illinois. Passionate Artist that started drawing at the age of 8 years old, spending every week's allowance on comics and drawing paper. The excitement for painting happened in 1997 at South Suburban Community College and grew into something that needed to be done (Passion). Jerry is an artist with a Goal to give back to the world through his God-given gift, Jerry has taught in classrooms for 5 years and gives private lessons to anyone that wants to learn. Jerry is a Graduate of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. The paintings in the current portfolio are directly related to the past two years of living in an environment of sunshine, ocean and beauty. This environment provided the freedom to fully express thought through color and line. Thank you Florida.
