I was born and raised in the wonderful state of Washington. Yes, up here in the great northwest! I have always loved art and I seem to dabble a bit in everything. I begged for a camera at the age of 12. Wrote poems on any piece of paper I could find at the age of 13. And always had crayons, pencils, markers and such so I could draw. I haven't really developed upon any of these talents but every so often I get lucky and get a good shot with my digital camera. I would love to go on and get a better camera and take some photography classes but for now that has to be put on the back burner. I love writing poetry as well and as much as everyong tells me my stuff is great...I still feel it is just simple...just something I do. I have 5 kids, a husband, a dog and a cat. They are usually subject to me chasing them around with the camera! My youngest son seems to be the one who is my best subject...he's a ham! My hubby thinks I am nuts. Everytime we go somewhere I have to take the camera, pen, and paper. You never know when a photo op will come up or when something worth writing down will sneak into my head. My family, my love for them, and my pain are often my inspiration. I love what I do. I love My family and friends. I love my life; no matter what it brings my way, with my hubby, family, and friends at my side I am invincible. We can handle anyting! Much Love!! ~DeeMarie~
