Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Mr. Hunt has been painting since the age of 7. He came to the United States at the age of 13 and began improving on his already budding artistic abilities. Upon graduating from high school in New Jersey, Mr. Hunt attended Pratt Institute for a year before joining the U.S. Navy where he enlisted for several years. During his travels Mr. Hunt gained valuable experience by seeing the vastness of different cultures. He states that "he was inspired by all the different cultures of the world and that gave him even more motivation to continue to create the beauty he saw around him". His works were acquired by various corporations and private indivduals. He never took his art to a professional level over the years but his dream was to become a well known artist by the age of 50. Now that he has reached that age, he decided its about time he got his work out where to public would be able to see his gift he gained from a higher power. He loves painting with Casein (a water based medium), oils and acrylics. He is looking forward to greater things in the coming years and his work speaks for itslef.
