Self Portrait

I graduated with a degree in Studio Art and then went on to do Social Work for a few years. I had a business (not art-related) -- finally I got into graphic and web design and became lead designer for some big companies. I broke from that to do consulting.

Now I am painting in earnest, doing abstracts. I've always drawn or painted, but not in large format. I suppose I've crossed a threshold. Many times I see galleries full of art work in my dreams. I jot down ideas when I wake up, intend to duplicate the painting and of course end up in a totally different direction!

--------------------------------

What is life asking you to do differently? Be as creative as possible.

What would you most like to be acknowledged for, so far in your life? That I did it my way.

What do you need to give to yourself so that you can give more to others? Immersion in creativity.

What are the greatest lessons you have learned in life? Don't give up. Don't sweat the small stuff. Don't care what other people think. It's all good.
