My artwork has been inspired by a lifelong passion for horses. I attained my fine art education at Lake Erie College, the Cleveland Institute of Art, and Louisiana State University's College of Design. I thoroughly enjoy the process of exploring and experimenting with color, texture, technique, and composition. I hope to capture a moment or a mood through my compositions and expressionistic use of color. However, while horses are seemingly the subject, they are also a vehicle for design, playing a key role in the conception of layout of each piece. But I never lose the idea that, as Alice Walker says, "Horses make a Landscape more Beautiful".
