I am a mixed media Artist; painting in oils, acrylic and water colour. my style is mostly traditional in all media and I am primarily a portrait painter.

Art has always been my first love and came natural to me. On leaving school I studied Art at Reading college, discovering early on that drawing and painting are the best ways for me to describe myself and how I feel. Although mostly self taught I have had the good luck of studying art on many private courses with many talented artists, having. also attended workshops with Laurie Plant who gave me a great love of oil and acrylic, and James Read who taught me a lot about water colour. I enjoy water colour for its softer atmosphere.

Painting local scenery and scenes from places visited are my favorite. Trying to capture and convey my thoughts into my painting is very satisfying. I am a member of Marlborough Artist society, Highworth Artist society The Wiltshire Artist, and The Nythe painting for pleasure group. I also exhibit at the Wyvern Theatre and at other venues around the town.

I, like most artists also enjoy the appreciation of my work by my friends and customers.
