I was raised in the white mountains of Arizona. My father was one of my biggest inspirations-he was always doing something creative from making custom knives-to short films he always kept his hands busy and imagination full. His brothers are also artists of various sorts. My mother is very good at sewing and taught me as a small child. I knew I was an artist when I was about 3 years old-when I was young I was very shy so I didn't make friends easily-art was my friend-I could live in my imagination and no one could take that from me-I was safe there-and I resided there often.
