Originally from Sydney, Australia, I moved to the United States in 1999 after meeting my current wife on the Internet. One way or the other I have been involved in artwork most of my life and have notched up 30+ years in the publishing and printing industries. I have also devoted 10+ years to Sydney's best amateur theatrical company as their marketing manager, graphic designer, set designer, assistant set builder, set painter, follow spot driver, and video cameraman. Phew!! They were terrific years!!
Currently I am the art director for a magazine publisher, but in my 'spare' time I am working to establish myself in the American art market as a reputable portrait artist. I also have numerous ideas for works I would like to do but have yet to find time for myself and my own work.
My favorite medium is pencil, but I have been known to work with watercolor and oils on occasion.
I am also working on my second novel — an historical fiction mystery.
