Artist Reply: Thanks so much for comment; so glad you like it! I don't know what kind of birds they are but that's not the momma; it's one of the babies when they were a little bit older.
They look so vulnerable and almost pre-historic. The mother must have been having a fit.
Artist Reply: I tried to always shoot them when she was gone. I don't like disturbing critters & wildlife when I'm trying to photograph them; especially mommas with babies who are already nervous.
Artist Reply: Their nest was in a wreath on my front door. I'd sneak out when I knew the mom was away & grab a few shots. We had to use the back door while they were there growing. Couldn't upset them! If you like these, check out my baby birds in a tree in my front yard. Appreciate your comments!
