A penny for your thoughts.....

Caterpillar sitting on a penny & who appears to be wearing a cute little green sweater (tho I'm pretty sure he's not). SECOND PIC: The leaf he's been munching on for three days...

The penny shot is neat--I went metal detecting at the park yesterday evening and dug up 28 pennies---was not exactly one of my best detecting outings--usually I find several quarters and dimes also--ha!

Never seen such a caterpillar, you are right: it looks like he's wearing a cute little sweater. Thanks for sharing this moments!

Artist Reply: As you can see by the penny he's a fairly small little critter; I almost missed him. I shot him over a three day period. I let him crawl onto my palm and he stung or bit me. It hurt for a while but it wasn't excruciating; mostly just annoying. But he was sooooo cute so it was worth it. It's the only one I've ever seen. But I thought he was awesome!
