I took careful consideration in the colour choices for the homes, as you can see by the colour meanings listed below. I wanted to portray a whimsical and fun image to convey the feeling of happiness, joy, love and family. I wanted people to get a warm feeling when they look at it and make it accessible to all age groups. I hope people get as much enjoyment out of seeing it as I had in the planning and painting of it. 1st House - The House of Love - Orange is a power color. Put some orange in your life when you want: To spice things up when you feel time is dragging. To become more involved in something. To increase creativity. Relief from things becoming too serious. 2nd House - The House of Hope - Blue is the coolest color. Put some blue in your life when you want: Calm and relaxation to counteract chaos or agitation. To open the flow of communication. To broaden your perspective in learning new information. Solitude and peace. 3rd House - The House of Family - Green is the color of nature, fertility, life. Put some green in your life when you want: A new state of balance. Feel a need for change or growth. Freedom to pursue new ideas. Protection from fears and anxieties connected with the demands of others. 4th House - The House of Laughter - Pink is the color of universal love. Put some pink in your life when you want: Calm feelings. To neutralize disorder. Relaxation. Acceptance, contentment.
