Lady Lilith

A little oil painting I started over the weekend to practice the glazing techniques and the use of Zinc white as an underpainting. This a Pastiche of the Pre-Raphaelite painter Dante Gabriel Rossetti's 'Lady Lilith'. Done on an oval canvas board 12 x 12. Art is like life's journey in that every painting is like a lesson for the next one. (Rusty Gladdish)
