Unconditional Love

A homeless man during a freezing winter in Sofia (Bulgaria) People ignore him, and his face shows his feelings. Loved by his dogs he gives them his warm... notice the carton he carefuly put for his bitch to don't take the killing cold from the floor...

One of the most touching photograph I have seen in a long time. I don't know how could people walk by without given a hand. Unless they're as bad off as this man and his friends are. Too bad that the red cross may take him in but would forbids his dogs to go with him. It's probably why he is staying on the street. He is given his friends their only chance of survival.

beautiful statement on humanity... so many people never even notice this man as they pass by, yet he possesses such a gentle, loving spirit.

We have too much of this in America too. It breaks my heart!

Andy Dippie 25 Aug 2004

I find this to be very emotive, the fleeting glimpse of the passers by,ignoring the man, quality work.

Rita Hoffer 24 Aug 2004

This picture definately tells this man's story. Backgrounds draws focus away from subject just a bit. Maybe better cropping or blurred background would help.

thea walstra 24 Aug 2004
