I WOULD LIKE THE SEE THE FIGURE STANDING OUT A LITTLE MORE FROM THE BACKGROUND. IT SEEMS TO BLEND INTO IT. PROBABLY, THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU HAD IN MIND. THE TITLE TELLS THE STORY OF NOWHERE TO GO BUT FORWARD AND FACE WHAT'S COMING. IN THIS CONTEXT THE BACKGROUND WOULD REPRESENT HOW FAR BACK YOU CANNOT GO.

I like the anatomy on this piece, it adds to the tension, but the background seems to be missing that spark of enregy and life you do so well Richard

You are a good painter, (you don't even want to see ME with a paintbrush) but be careful with your anatomy. This piece would become great if there was more attention to symmetry for the body. Keep it up.
