Wow! my painting "Wish" has been returned to me after 11 yrs. 1997 "Wish" was on loan to a friend. She fell in love with it. She begged for me not to take it. I alound for he to keep it with conditions. She hit hard times and sold it to her roommate. She believed it to be hers and would not give it back. She hit hard times and sold it in 2003. Some how she track it down ans Called me. I'm sitting in front of it now. 24x36 acrylic on canvas

How could anyone ever sell such a painting with such a deep sentiment embedded within? How sad.... Paint it AGAIN! :-)Erin Sincavich 29 Sep 2004
Beautiful... and what a shame you lost track of this. I have had some of my work stolen before, it's like someone taking a piece of yourself. It's horrible people do things like that, they have no idea how much a piece of art can mean to someone. Any-hoo, wonderful painting, at least you still have this image to hold on to....Andree Lerat 28 Aug 2004

it may be hanging beside 'the scream' : ) great work and indeed it like a lost child out there somewhere... sounds like a familiar story.. i let a relative 'borrow' some work for sharing with her co workers ... somehow 2 pieces disappeared.. grr.. beautiful work karen...Pat Abbott 25 Aug 2004
