the caravanserai has builded in 1637 and has 5168 m2 space..it is in Malatya-Battalgazi-Turkey..caravanserai is for merchants who carry goods by their camels or mostly with their horses for long distances..they used to spend their nights in this caravanserai..the high platforms contiguous to the walls are to spread the beds and the indentations on the walls under the windows are small cookers to heat or cook their meals..the animals were tied up in the courtyard outside..
