Artist Reply: actually, a friend from Mexico asked me to do two flower paintings for him and when i asked what kind he said alcatraz flowers. when i googled them this is what they looked like. they are popular in Mexico and were often used as elements in the great Mexican muralist Rivera's work.
over all a really nice color scheme going on here. Ilike the way the lilies are painted. I do think the prsentation could be better, like crop out all background around the painting, it is a detractor to being able to enjoy the work.
