The bull has been a central figure in all Mediterranean culture, festivities which date back to antiquity in the island of Crete and the ambitions of King Minos to dominate the Aegean Sea with his Minotaurus offspring have daunted our unconsciousness in a complex psychological mace. This powerful image has been carried along for centuries and exemplified through Iberian artist such as Goya and Picasso, constituting a genre in itself as we refer to Tauromaquia.
