There was an illustrator that worked at Colliers magazine who did similar work. I wish I could remember his name. Back when the studio I grew up in was running at full tilt, we looked at other artists work as well as our own and studied their technique.Johnny M 04 Mar 2013
A wonderfully magnificent scene! A scene that can provoke memories to resurface and bring to mind family adventures...and having the family dog in it just encompasses the turmoil of those happy times of maybe someones youth or the ardent times of even today. A great work and composition that is made to sew into the family quilt as it were, that some mom would make and use the square to tell of family and friends in times to come.
