Italian model Anna Grigorenko offered me an image from her portfolio to create a painting from. Given that Anna is most famous for being in Playboy etc, most of her images were not quite what I normally do. However, there was one where she was holding a violin that looked like it might make for an elegant painting, with a LOT of adjustment. Like clothing. My wife, being a good sport (and many wives might not have done this!) modelled in roughly the same pose and light for me so that I could dress poor Anna appropriately. This painting is the result. Acrylic on canvas, 16" x 20", 2012
