East Middle Atlantic ridge ! After the glacial melt of the Reykjanes peninsula for about 12-15 thousand year,about 200 volcanoes in four volcanic been active in region and form the flow of 42 cubic of lava that covers over 1000 square kilometers of territory. Reykjanes peninsula is among the country´s regions intriguing what geology touches. It is e.g. the only place where the rices from the sea and people can walk on his feet dry. There are plenty geology enthusiasts - geothermal,ice Age film,glacier and rock formations in the most unlikely form,including pillow-lava, tremendous volcanic trace.... lava caves and hot spring.
