W.W.Benner Hauling - Perkasie Train Station

My uncle, Woodrow Wilson Benner held the Railroad Express Agency contract in Perkasie and the contract to carry mail between the Post Office and the train station, from the late 30's, until rail mail service ended on this line in the early 60's.

Very nice work, James.

Artist Reply: Thank you. This is mainly a romanticized nostalgia piece. The train station is now decrepit and I'm trying to raise local awareness for a restoration. As a pre-teen, I used to meet these trains here, on some Saturdays with my Uncle... and, I just have a real sweet spot in my head for these old Reading FP7 locomotives.
