All wars are terrible and so many suffer and die as a result but, as in the case of WWII, when our country is attacked the only option is to fight back. If we had not responded to the act of war forced upon us by the cowardly empire of Japan many millions of innocent Americans would have been murdered and America would be a much less desirable place to live than it is today, I agree with Patrick Henry when he said "Give me liberty or give me death".

Thank you for that reminder that war is terrible no matter what the cause there is so much pain and suffering. We all seem to be able to have selective memory when it comes to it but it is always full of pain, death and suffering and most of the time the innocent are the ones to suffer the most. Thanks for the memories and yes I served as well.

Artist Reply: Thank You, Donald! Your inspiring comments have a special significance along with supportive themes and yes, I also served as well.
