The project site is located by the Yellow River in Wuhai, Inner Mongolia. And Wuhai is a "Sun City" with plenty of sunshine, so we consider the Sun Spirit as the theme for hotel design with full of passion, dreams and wisdom, thus making it the symbol of Wuhai people’s spirit with respect to nature, pursuit of bright and positive ambition. This rendering used impressionistic style digital painting in dusk scene. The sparkling Wuhai is flashing dazzling brilliance in the sunset glow. The Sun Spirit Hotel rising from Wuhai water, just as a bright sun not falling in Wuhai, made a unique image in sharp contrast to the desert and oasis waterfront. This conceptual design won the 2nd place in design team in 2009.
