This is a whimsical portrait of a Burmese woman carrying a child on her back--and she has dozens of brass neck rings that have stretched her neck to an extravagant length, and a most compelling and captivating smile! This is one of my favorite pieces because of that smile, and the baby peeking around her shoulder.
