I did a quick sketch onto the canvas and went to work. Most people only 'think' they're introverts, BTW. This is a 16 by 12 inch acrylic painting and another piece from the heart of Texas, Austin. Original Jones Art.
I see you in this, my friend and the title is perfect, "Inadvertent Introvert',...so were you also an inadvertent Austin Texan, my friend Hahahaha! If I didn't know you and your art, I would have never recognized you in this piece, in which expression, color and tones come together to present a nice self-portrait of an exceptional artist. Your colleague, Mark Kokopelli
Artist Reply: I feel I've been an accidental tourist as long as I can remember, Mark, as I'm not a student of the 'everything happens for a reason' school of rationalization. But I've had my moments and some have been quite nice, I'll admit. Many say they see me in my pieces--well, not in the purely hybrid bird pieces maybe but those with male faces. I sometimes beg to differ, though I will say begging's not my style. :) Hope you and yours are doing great.

Reminds me of an angry person I encountered at a drag strip.
