Do you remember when you were a child- Did your parents often tell you not to eat cookies before suppertime- that they would spoil your appetite for supper? I do. This was a strict rule in my home to never eat anything sweet before supper- no cookies, no candy, no cake, no pie, no ice cream. It was okay for me to indulge in my cravings for sweets/desserts after I ate supper. To this day as an adult, I still abide by this rule from my childhood. I used the Paint program on my computer to create this artwork depicting an unseen child's hand putting down a cookie that he/she was getting ready to eat after hearing his/her parent say: "Don't eat any cookies yet because you will spoil your appetite for supper".
