This is pretty. It makes me think of looking out on a cold winter day when it's too cold to be outdoors so instead, we are warmed by the fire and the crackling sounds of the pine cones as they explode their seed into the glow of the room. Nice work Marshall.
Obviously a painter who is not addicted to pretty still lifes but willing to go and paint anything as an excuse to paint. Love the values and the way you tie forms together. Very effective.
