Here's the last of the notepad drawings. Faces and upper torsos mostly. I have drawn most of my life but I'm not sure what I would draw if someone asked me to draw my life. I'm afraid it would be a maelstrom of loops and squiggles, signifying very little. I've always looked philosophically upon existence in general and my life in particular. These little drawings are 3 by 3 inches in size and are made using a single inexpensive gel pen. How inexpensive? I picked up 8 of them in a package for a dollar. So don'[ think you need expensive equipment and supplies to make 'art.' As you can plainly see, you just need to do it until something surfaces. Hope you all enjoy these bits of Original Jones Art as I pull them out of the crazy box here in Austin, Texas.

Quite an assemblage of joyful self portrait sketches! I seem to catch a hint of sadness in these masterfully created images, seemingly representing yourself! Sketch on my friend!!!

Artist Reply: Though they are mean to evoke certain feelings of mine, they are not meant to represent me per se, Mark. They are Everyman, if you will. running the gamut of shapes and ages. I don't do female faces often. I'm not sure why. Maybe I can't put myself in that gender's skin. ;)
