Artist Reply: Thank you...this particular Red Tail Hawk lives along the Martinez Shoreline and has become comfortable with humans due to some interaction with one resident over a long period of time.
Nice! I live out in the country above a barn about three stories up with some small dogs and a big deck where sometimes birds of prey swoop in real close... too close for my comfort and eye ball my little dogs. love these birds but my dogs too ~
Artist Reply: They are spectacular creatures and dedicated predators. This fellow lives along our shoreline and is quite well known to those of us who walk this route.
