Impromptu is defined as something done without being planned, organized, or rehearsed. In many ways, all my pieces begin that way and I try to retain some of that creative spontaneity because, without it, there's a sense of being 'off' or just not quite right. This face began with the nose and worked its way around, you might say. This is an envelope drawing using an inexpensive gel pen. It measures something around 5 by 4 inches. Yes, this is more of that unrehearsed Original Jones Art playing spontaneously here in Austin, Texas.
