What a fantastic Photo. Yes she is still in search of Pollen & nectar to stor the coming months to feed her Family & colony ,all the drones have been kicked out of the hive & soon this beautiful Honey Bee after flying over 5000 miles ,visiting thousands of Flowers ,bringing in just over a 2 tablespoons of nectar in the 3 to 4 months of her life ,to love ,& feed her family ,many die before that with all the pesticides that drift from farmers fields onto to those inviting Flowers,,,such as canola plants that at times are loaded with these poisons ,so sad.,as they & Butterfly's work so hard in the production of Pollination,which is so so necessary for our existence .We need to do more for them.,all we think of is stealing there honey.,there food,that each one of those honey Bees died for.Thankyou for posting this wonderful photo,it should be a reminder ,every time you see them on a flower as they fly away with the delicious treasure to there hives.,,,that we too enjoy.
