This old water powered corn mill was located just a few miles from my home. I shot a number of photographs of it back in the 1970's. I'm glad I got those pictures when I did because it is gone now and I've painted from them several times. This is the first of a new series I'm working on.

I like the rustic painting of a bygone era in the country when the water mill ground corn and other grains.
