Something as I recall that I forgot to mention,this breed of tropical fish are quite aggressive & would only get along with shark fish or catfish all tropical ,as I recall they were always a problem,as in my other tank I would have ,sword tails,zebras,Neons,Mollies,Gouramis, Yes Chiclids are pretty to look at but just don't get along with the other fish..they were always short lived ,& then I would get Angel fish.

Wow wow ,what a fantastic scientific name,,,I in my younger years enjoyed my 2,,,20 gallon Fish tanks ,salt water too,these are CHICLIDS,,,,,I actually had Angel fish ,just watching a mother of about 15 tiny baby Angel fish swim close beside her,& when any sign of danger,yes if you tapped on the tank ,the mother Angel fish would open her mouth & the brood would dart inside,,yes what a sight..,,Breeding fish was fun,trying to keep the friendly ones together as we called community fish,,This is a Beautiful photo of a CHICLID,,,did you find this treasure at the Zoo,or do you have Fish.
