Artist Reply: Thank you for visiting my gallery once again,I so much appreciate the wonderful compliment,,,,there is a 4 lane highway,the Trans Canada ,but I chose not to paint it in, This goes thru an Area of the Rocky Mountains called ,Kananaskis Country,with Hotels,& Golf Courses,R/V parking,it's not as Secluded as I've made it to Appear.

Artist Reply: Dee & David,,again Thank you ever so much for viewing my Art,I appreciate all the encouragement ,it makes me pickup my brush in one hand & coffee in the other,,,,actually this one I started on site in the summer,it's just over the hill from my acreage ,& just finished at home,we now for the past 3 months have had a blanket of that white stuff,,,,,SNOW,,,,,I always enjoy the compliments you give me,I now need to buy a BIGGER,,,hat. Thank you,David &Dee always enjoy seeing your Fabulous World renowned Creations,it Amazes me how you can have some do a sitting ,but turn it into a masterpiece everytime..,I can only imagine the work ,the time,that certain lighting ,etc etc etc that goes into creating such Beauty.

As was said, your environment is beautiful, it puts me in mind of my childhood home first in Colorado Rockies and then Montana, very nice

This year.,always nice to hear from you.

I started this one last summer on site just sitting on the slope just steps from my home, we have winter out here like you do a blanket of snow in Western Canada.I appreciate the wonderful compliment as always from you,,it encourages me to start my next Canvas.,but not on site but from a photo I took last summer.,all our waters ,lakes & ponds are skating rinks now.
If your work is reflective of your living environment then all I can say is---you're one lucky fellow, Al. I'm hoping you have an art market where you can show and sell your lovely pieces. Wishing you the best up there to the far north. Our 'winter' such as it is, is almost over. Most of our winter weather is squeezed into January. :)
