Amy Winehouse (1983-2011), highly recognizable British singer/songwriter who combined soul, R&B & jazz and in 2008 won four Grammys for Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year, as well as Best Pop Vocal Album. Sadly, she suffered from an eating disorder (bulimia) and alcohol and drug addiction, and died from alcohol poisoning at the young age of 27. Her highly distinctive and iconic personal style included a number of tattoos and an overpowering, gravity-defying beehive hairdo with white streaks in the front, and long tresses flowing from the beehive and her signature black, cat-eyes eyeliner that extended up to her eyebrows.
