I did a piece a while back called 'The Party's Inside' that had a figure with a very somber countenance and I suppose this one is along those same lines. I have a photo taken in the mid-seventies of myself with rather long hair and my Dad sneaking up on me with his hands on either side of my head. He had a big smile, probably for Mom who was taking the photo, and I was my usual serious self. So when I looked at this more closely, the title seemed obvious. Yes, that's what Original Jones Art said seriously here in northwest Austin, Texas.

People tell me I wouldn't win at poker! I've never been able to hide my feelings well. One look at my face and you pretty well know my thoughts! I like your combination of pinkish brown on one side of the face and blue on the other. Great work.Nikolay Semyonov 02 Oct 2021
No matter whether you're on board the Titanic or Queen Mary, a party is always inside. Like the story as well.
