This is the first oil painting from a series of watercolor studies that I’ve started. I really think it turned out beautiful. In this scene a woman standing on the edge of a small cliff as the new moon rises on the Horizon. I do the studies with the intention of making them into a Imaginative realism paintings. This style is where the painting has both imaginative aspects and realistic images as well.
